  3. In response to the Action? prompt, the FILE command places a filename tag
  4. on the message specified in your command.
  5.  
  6. Action? FILE IN meetings       To file a message which you have just read.
  7.  
  8. If the filename is new, Envoy 100 will display:
  9.  
  10. 'filename' does not exist. 
  11. Do you wish to create it?      You must answer YES or NO
  12.  
  13. Filenames can be 20 characters maximum. They must start with an alpha
  14. character and can contain numbers and periods. No spaces or other
  15. punctuation marks are allowed. Messages can be filed in up to six different
  16. filenames.

  19. Command? FILE 3 IN meetings    To file a message listed in the scan table
  20.                                without reading it (n is the scan number
  21.                                in the scan table).

  23. Command? FILE 3-6 IN sales     To file consecutive messages in the scan
  24.                                table.

  26. Command? FILE SAVED agenda IN meetings
  27.                                To file a saved message.
  28.  
  29. Command? FILE meetings sales   To file messages associated with a
  30.                                particular filename in a second filename.

  33.                                To file messages you received before the 
  34.                                specified date.
  35.  
  36. Command? FILE SINCE 1 Aug IN sales 
  37.                                To file messages you received on and after
  38.                                the date specified.

  40. Command? FILE ON Apr 1 IN sept.report
  41.                                To file messages you received on a 
  42.                                specified date.

  44. Command? FILE FROM C.ROBICHON IN budget
  45.                                To file messages you received from a 
  46.                                specified user name.

  48. Command? FILE SUBJECT 'new budget' IN budget
  49.                                To file messages you received with a
  50.                                specified 'string' in the Subject field.

  52. Command? FILE UNFILED IN action.items
  53.                                To file messages you received not currently
  54.                                filed under a specific filename.

  56. Command? DISPLAY FILES         To obtain a list of your filenames

  58. Command? SCAN filename         To list all messages associated with a
